Getting to Limone - Travel Information

Getting to Limone on the western side of Lake Garda is more complicated than many of the other resorts around the shoreline. It is probably one of the furthest Lake Garda destinations from a motorway connection but, nonetheless, there are good connections plus, of course, it is well within reach of a variety of airports.

Travel by Car

Those heading to Limone from the west are advised to use the A4/E70 motorway which stretches from Venice to Milan. The exit for Limone - actually it is the one for Brescia Est - is situated to the east of the turn-offs for Brescia - the route then goes through countryside before joined the lakeshore road north to Limone.

Drivers coming from the north should exit the A22/E45 from the Austrian border at Rovereto Sud / Lago di Garda Nord and travel through the mountains to Torbole and Riva del Garda before taking the lake road on the western shore south to Limone.

This is also the most promising route for those heading from the east and south, who should take the route to the north towards Austria after the exits for Verona and then leave the motorway at the Rovereto Sud junction as above. Alternately, drivers can try the longer alternative as for those coming from the west.

Distances
Milan 166km - northeast to Bergamo and then past Brescia to the motorway exit at Brescia Est
Venice 215km - past Padua, Vicenza and Verona to the motorway exit at Rovereto Sud
Verona 97km - north on the motorway to Rovereto Sud
